We believe it’s the small, everyday choices that create the biggest impact. By making thoughtful, ethical changes across our business, our goal is to become the most sustainable salon in Wales — while providing a guilt-free, luxury experience for our clients.​

 

How We Make a Difference

Through our partnership with full circle recycling, 90% of our salon waste is recycled.

 

We recycle: Aluminium foils, Colour tubes, Hair clippings, Plastic & Paper.
This means every service you receive at Create Salon is kinder to the planet.
 

Our Sustainability Initiatives

Here are some of the ways we’re making meaningful changes:

Hair Recycling for Ocean Protection
All hair cuttings are saved and turned into hair mats, which help clean up oil spills in rivers, lakes, and oceans.
A Bee-Friendly Garden
Our salon garden transforms into a bee haven each summer, while our indoor air-purifying plants create a healthy space for our team. 
Gift Cards That Give Back
Our gift cards are made from plantable seed paper. Once redeemed, they’re yours to take home and grow into flowers — a gift that keeps!

Supporting Local Charities

Our initiatives include:

Donating care packages to local families in need every November and December.

Planting a tree for every client visit, creating a lasting legacy in partnership with The Size of Wales.

Through these efforts, we aim to make a meaningful impact in our community and beyond.

Eco-Conscious Design & Build
When creating our salon, we used sustainable materials and local trades people. Our reclaimed wood features — including our custom-built desk — bring character and purpose to our space.
Reducing Energy Use
The salon is lit with energy-efficient bulbs, helping us lower our carbon footprint.
